At the age of 13, my life was dramatically changed when I woke up from an operation to save my life-blind. Since then a host of challenges have invaded my life, including the many challenges of learning to live with no eyesight, a suicide attempt on my part, a violent attack on my person, broken engagements, financial struggle, becoming a foster parent, death of loved ones and more.
But through it all, God's blessings have also shone through. And He has turned to good that which Satan meant for bad. I speak to groups on a regular basis in hopes that I will touch souls for the glory of God and I write about my many experiences, knowing that if even one is blessed-it is well worth sharing my struggles.
My life story, a poignant, emotional, yet joyful and humorous account of all this and more, is now available! Order Racing in the Slow Lane in Softcover

Some comments include:
I have known Pam for over thirty years and she never ceases to amaze me. Whatever she sets out to do, she accomplishes. This certainly is true in the writing of her delightfully candid book, "Racing In The Slow Lane". As you hold Pam's hand and let her guide you throughout the maze of blindness, you will experience what it is like to hold onto the Father's a-maze-ing hand in this unpredictable, yet challenging, journey we call life.~Sandra Harrington
Since I have heard much of your story, I would have to say without hesitation that "Racing in the Slow Lane" is a story of courage and determination of a young girl who loses her sight but gains so much more. Pam Jordan's story will inspire the young and those facing seemingly overwhelming odds in life. She is an inspiration and role model for all of us. ~Marcus Parr, Writing Instructor, Mt Hood Community College
